Sodium Butyrate

Sodium Butyrate is a dietary supplement in capsule form that supports the healthy functioning of the digestive system in conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel diseases, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn’s disease.

Due to its anti-inflammatory, regenerative, and microbiota-stimulating properties, sodium butyrate is used to support the primary treatment of various intestinal disorders. It has a beneficial effect on the digestive system and is used for both constipation and diarrhea. Butyric acid helps regulate intestinal peristalsis. A deficiency may impair the regeneration of the intestinal epithelium and compromise gut barrier integrity, potentially leading to disease. The supplement also contains peppermint leaf extract, which is used for gastrointestinal issues such as bloating, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, reduced intestinal motility, nausea, and gastritis. It stimulates bile secretion, promotes gastric juice production, improves smooth muscle contractions in the digestive tract, and strengthens the intestinal mucosa. The formula is enriched with lemon balm leaf extract, which enhances digestive support and provides calming effects.

Sodium butyrate, delayed-release cellulose capsule, bulking agent – acacia fiber, lemon balm leaf extract (Melissa officinalis L.) DER 4:1, peppermint leaf extract (Mentha piperita L.) DER 4:1, anti-caking agent – silicon dioxide.

Sodium butyrate 300 mg, Lemon balm leaf extract 30 mg, Peppermint leaf extract 20 mg

May contain traces of cereals containing gluten, soy, and milk.

Adults: 2 capsules daily, during or after a meal – one in the morning, one in the evening.
Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily, during or after a meal, preferably in the evening.

Swallow the capsule whole (do not chew or open it). Do not divide the capsule into smaller portions.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Individuals taking medication and children under 18 should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Not recommended for children under 7, pregnant or breastfeeding women. The product has a very distinctive smell, which is completely normal.

Store in a dry place at room temperature, in a closed container, out of reach of small children.
